  • Custom deck design tailored to your home
  • Pressure-treated pine decks (budget-friendly)
  • Premium cedar decks (natural beauty)
  • Composite decking (low maintenance)
  • Multi-level and wraparound decks
  • Built-in benches and planters
  • Privacy screens and pergolas
  • Deck repair and refinishing

Our deck construction process begins with a site visit and design consultation. We discuss your goals, measure your space, assess soil conditions, and consider factors like sun exposure, drainage, and access to your yard. We create a detailed plan that meets Ontario Building Code requirements including proper footing depth (below frost line), joist spacing, railing height (minimum 36 or 42 inches depending on height), and baluster spacing (maximum 4 inches). Once permits are approved, we excavate for footings and pour concrete pads or install deck blocks. The frame is built using pressure-treated lumber with proper ledger board attachment to your house. Joists are installed at 16-inch centers (or 12-inch for composite decking). Decking boards are installed with proper spacing for drainage and expansion. We use hidden fasteners for composite decking and stainless steel screws for wood. Railings are built to code with sturdy posts and balusters. For wood decks, we can apply high-quality stain or sealant to protect against weather and UV damage. We complete thorough cleanup and provide maintenance recommendations. Serving Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Pickering, Ajax, and throughout the GTA. Contact us today for a free consultation and let's create the perfect outdoor space for your home.
