Our fence construction process begins with a property assessment. We measure your fence line, verify property boundaries (we recommend having a survey if you're unsure of exact lines), and identify any underground utilities through Ontario One Call. We discuss your goals for the fence—privacy, security, or aesthetics—and recommend appropriate styles and materials. For wood fences, we offer cedar (naturally rot-resistant and beautiful) or pressure-treated pine (budget-friendly and durable). Posts are set 8 feet apart (or 6 feet for increased strength) in concrete footings that extend below the frost line. We ensure posts are plumb and properly aligned. Rails are attached to posts, then fence boards or panels are installed. For privacy fences, boards are placed tightly together. For semi-privacy (shadowbox), boards alternate on each side of the rails. Gates are hung with heavy-duty hinges and latches. For vinyl fencing, we use manufacturer-approved installation methods with posts set in concrete. Vinyl never needs painting and resists fading and cracking. Aluminum fencing offers the look of wrought iron without rust issues—perfect for decorative applications and pool enclosures. Chain link is cost-effective for large areas and provides security while being see-through. We can install vinyl slats for added privacy.
